This is a very clever and creative text animation created from the movie 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'. I really appreciate the way the text acts out what the character is saying, and the colour scheme is simple but very effective.

This example of visual identity comes in the form of web design, aiming to promote this particular person. A clear, crisp picture is accompanied by minimal information. Hovering over the logo brings up a menu strip that is used to navigate the website in an interactive way. I love Rene's neat and minimal approach to design, it's extremely user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

This webpage is very well considered and executed brilliantly. The home page doesn't include the navigation bar; it just displays the company logo and the web template, with a prompt to open the page further at the bottom of the screen.
Once opened, the different links on the site correspond to a certain colour which is displayed as the background of the page. This keeps the whole site fresh, along with a consistent grid. The sheer simplicity of the design and layout make this an incredibly user-friendly and effective website to promote the company.

- Orville H. Gibson, founder of Gibson guitars, established himself as a manufacturer of musical instruments around 1894.
- The best selling Gibson of all time is the SG standard.
- Clarence Leo Fender’s original firm was sold to CBS in 1965 for $13 million, a huge figure in that day.
- Clarence Leo Fender started out as an accountant, before building amplifiers and PA systems in his 20s.

- Dimebag Darell due to how amazing he was at shredding and because Pantera are one of my favourite bands x
- JIMMY F**KING PAGE. Also, Alex turner is such an underestimated guitarist. Considering arctic monkeys have only been going for just over 5 years and had the fastest selling debut album within a few years of picking a guitar up. If you really strip down some of their songs the riffs are incredible.
- johnny marr ♥ because he is so creative and melodic! X
- John Frusciante purely coz the red hot chili peppers were my first love if not Jimi Hendrix.
- Omar Rodriguez Lopez cos hes got the strangest style of writing music of all time.

- Well I'm a bass player, so I suggest: Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) coz he basically 'invented' the slap bass. He also is in a lot of oldskool hiphop songs for the basslines... Anyway he has a wide range of bass styles. Drawing influences from funk music and punk rock, Flea centers his bass playing on simplicity and minimalism while viewing complexity as a device that should be used in moderation. (this is from wiki, but couldn't have said it any better myself )
- If we go way back I'd say Carl Perkins and maybe Chuck Berry. Especially for those days these guys were astonishing new soundwise..
- Dimebag Darrell. No question. Also, if you guys haven't heard of him, check out Victor Wooten. There's a guitar/bass battle that's definitely worth watching, which I've posted below. In my mind, he's actually better than Flea.
- Angus Young from AC/DC hands down because of the great improvisation he does in songs. Chuck Berry's another great guitarist. Especially with his trademark 'duck walk'.
- Hendrix or Paige. Both are brilliant. Hendrix was off his head most of the time. Which made him brilliant.
